Jaxon has been working really hard on his reading abilities. We have quite a gap to fill between now and the end of the school year if he wants to move on to second grade. I am proud of him regardless, and would be happy no matter whether he moves on to second grade or stays in first grade one more year, but he really wants to move on. I found a really great guide that shows me what level book he is currently reading and then how each level goes from there.
